I.W. EVANS

I have been teaching at I. W. Evans and working for Bonham ISD for 13 years.  My current teaching assignment is 5^th grade math and social studies.  My first year teaching I taught 4^th grade math so this will be my 13^th year teaching 5^th grade math.

Prior to working at I. W. Evans I was a stay at home mom to my three sons for 16 years.  I also taught preschool two days a week for a year during those 16 years.

I married my husband Chris in March 1986.  We have been married for 31 years.  I have three sons, Jon, Michael, and David.  Jon is 28 and has his Associates Degree in Computer Science from Grayson County College.  He lives and works in Durant, Ok and is dating Savanah. He has one son (my only grandchild) Barret that will be attending Kindegarten at Finley-Oates Elementary.  Needless to say this Nana spoils him rotten!   My son Michael is 24 and graduated from University of Texas Dallas with a computer engineer degree.  He is married to my daughter-in-law Morgan and he lives and works in both Dallas and Virginia.  My son David is 20 and is attending Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Tx and is engaged to his fiance’ Rachel.  He is earning a degree in Computer Science.

On weekends and during the summer my husband and I love to camp.  We see new things, go to different places, and just enjoy nature.  I have three dogs that keep me up and moving.  I also love to read books and watch movies.
