I graduated from Durant High School in 1984 and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1988.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Education. I am ESL, GT, Math Grades 4-8 and Generalist (all subjects) Grades 4-8 certified.
I have been teaching at I. W. Evans and working for Bonham ISD for 17 years. My current teaching assignment is 5th grade math.
Prior to working at I. W. Evans I was a stay at home mom to my three sons for 16 years. I also taught preschool two days a week for a year during those 16 years.
I married my husband Chris in March 1986. We have been married for 35 years and have two dogs named Wintson and WiiMan. We also have three grown sons that are 24,28, and 32 years old. My grandson Barret is a fourth grader at I. W. Evans. My grandson and my dogs are all spoiled rotten and I only have myself to blame.
On weekends and during the summer my husband and I love to camp. We see new things, go to different places, and just enjoy nature. I have two dogs that keep me up and moving. I also love to read books, watch tv, and see my family. My grandson is currently tutoring me on my gaming skills on his Nintendo Switch.
