I began with Bonham ISD as a volunteer, later as a substitute teacher and then became the Librarian in 1999. This year will be my 23rd year with Bonham ISD.

At the beginning of my career, I worked in Dallas and later Deep East Texas with adult mentally ill. When we moved to Missouri, I was able to work in an Early Childhood Intervention program as a case manager. We couldn’t get back to Texas fast enough!  After we returned to Texas, I was able to spend a few years at home with my children and provided in-home childcare for my children, family members children and a few other children. Later, I worked directly with children in  an ECI program in Richardson until we movd to Bonham in 1997. 

I have been married to my husband, Galen, for 35 years and we have two grown daughters who are gradautes of BHS. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 10 chickens and 21 guineas.
