I started with Bonham ISD in 2015 as a substitute teacher. I began as a paraprofessional in the PPCD classroom during the 2015-2016 school year. The following year I transferred to the high school Lifeskills classroom where I worked for the next two years.
This is my second year teaching 6th grade ELAR!
I am recently married to my husband Logan and we have two beautiful little girls, Emma, 3 and Arilyn, 6. Emma will be starting her first year of school in head start at Bailey Inglish and Arilyn is going into 1st grade at Finley-Oates. We have three dogs, Napoleon the Bloodhound, Soffee the Great Dane, and Max the Tibetan Spaniel. We also have one cat named Willow, a bird named Mirleah, and a fish named Bubbles.
When I am not in the classroom, my family enjoys going on a variey of adventures, looking for new and exciting places for our kiddos to have fun. I personally enjoy painting, making wreaths, and other artsy things.
