I started with Bonham ISD in 2015 as a substitute teacher. I began as a paraprofessional in the PPCD classroom during the 2015-2016 school year. The following year I transferred to the high school Lifeskills classroom where I worked for the next two years.
This is my second year teaching 6th grade ELAR!
I am married to my husband, Logan, and we have two beautiful little girls, Emma, 4 and Arilyn, 7. We also recently welcomed our first little boy, Teagan! Emma is a student at Bailey Inglish and Arilyn is in 2nd grade at Finley-Oates. We have two dogs, Napoleon the Bloodhound and Max the Tibetan Spaniel. We also have five crazy cats named Willow, Toulouse, Monkey, Heidi, and Tigerlily. There is a bird named Merleah, a fish named Bubbles, and a bearded dragon (also my class pet) named Dexter.
When I am not in the classroom, my family enjoys going on a variey of adventures, looking for new and exciting places for our kiddos to have fun. We enjoy going to the aquariums, museums, and zoos around our area quite frequently. Medieval Times is also a huge family favorite!
