This is my fourth year with Bonham ISD. I have worked within education for the last 17 years. First as an assistant teacher and now as a certified teacher. I will be teaching 4^th grade English Language Arts and Reading and Social Studies. 

Prior to moving to Bonham I worked at a few different places.. I first started in Lubbock, Tx as an assistant teacher and then moved to a couple of different districts within Mississippi.as an assistant teacher and substitute. In 2015 my family moved to South Korea where I taught English Language Learners how to read, write and speak English as a second language. In 2016 I earned my teaching certification. I am so excited to watch students learn and grow each year.

In 1996, I married a wonderful man named Tony. We have been married for 24 years this September. He is currently serving as Senior Pastor of Bonham Community Church. He will also be driving a bus for our school district. We have two amazing children. My first born, Austin will soon be 25 and  lives in Lubbock, Texas on his own. Allessa my second born is 19 and she will be attending Grayson County College this year. We have been in Bonham for 3 years now and are really enjoying being here.Tony and I have recently lived out of the country with Allessa in South Korea for 3 years. It was an amazing experience. 

I absolutely love most animals. In my home we have always had pets. Currently we have two dogs. Lucy is a Dalmation/Lab mix and Tobias we purchased in South Korea. He is our 3 ½ year old Miniture Doberman Pincher.  We have recently adopted a cat as well. Her name is Cheyenne.  My family and I have recently started raising chickens and ducks. It has been so much fun to watch them grow. 

I absolutely love my job. I enjoy seeing students learn and grow. When I am not at school or teaching, I really enjoy watching movies and going to church. Being a teacher is not my only job as I am also a Pastor’s wife. We moved to Bonham to pastor Bonham Community Church and now have a Biker church as well. Everyone is welcome. We often find ourselves naming us the church of misfit toys as we come from all backgrounds.  I love working in ministry and serving the people in my community. My husband and I also ride a Harley every chance we get. I really enjoy being on the bike and watching peoples reactions when they find out we are in ministry as well as working for the school district here in Bonham.
