This is my first year as Instructional Specialist for grades K-8th. I’m looking forward to serving students and staff at Finley-Oates, IW Evans, and LH Rather this year!
I began my teaching career at Community High School teaching Biology and Pre-AP Biology, and then spent the next 5 years at Bonham High School teaching Biology, Pre-AP Biology, Physics, and Forensics. For the next 3 years, I taught 3rd-8th grades Math, Science, and Social Studies at Morning Star Academy in Bonham. I have also taught Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab courses for Grayson College. Upon my return to BHS in 2017, I taught Biology, Pre-Ap Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology before accepting the Instructional Coach position at IW Evans. This year, I will be serving 3 campuses as an Instructional Specialist.
My husband, Matt, and I have 2 children who both attend Bonham schools. Connor is in 7th grade at LH Rather and Madelyn is in 5th grade at IW Evans. We have one very lazy, fat cat named Zoey and a very hyper dog named Braxton.
My hobbies include spending time with my family outdoors. We love to go camping!
