I am a mother of three. While supporting their educational needs, I realized my talent and calling for educating students. I decided to enter the classroom for the first time in 1996. I managed to complete a 4 year degree in 3 years with Presidential Honors almost every semester.
I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt my calling is educating, inspiring, encouraging, and making a difference in children’s lives. I love what I do, and my students have always shown growth as well as success!
I was married for 20 years, and currently single.
I have three daughters and six grandchildren.
I live in Ravenna, Texas where I grew up.
I do not have pets, but love animals.
I love gardening, reading, and junk shopping. I also sing and have performed at numerous shows.
My goal is to become a Master Gardener when I retire from teaching. As a Master Gardener, I will educate adults and children about growing beautiful flowers as well as vegetable gardens. I would love to enter schools and build after school programs that inspire students to be involved in gardening.
I read to my students weekly. Young and old love to be read to! We read and discuss components of the book. Throughout the years, my students have laughed and cried as stories played out.
Junk shopping is a treasure hunt! I have taken road trips coming home with a truck load of fun! The best day for me is to head out early and hit garage sales with friends.
