I grew up in a small town (or it used to be small) named Burleson where I graduated High School there in 1999. I attended the University of Arlington and finally graduated wtih my Bacholors in 2008 from Texas A&M Commerce.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Education with with my certification in Mathematics 4th through 8th grade. I also have a Core certification 4th through 8th grade.
My teaching expierece started at Commerce ISD where I taught Junior High math. I took a break from teaching for a bit and had a cool fun job as a orthodontic asssitant in Paris.
I knew that God was pulling me back to teaching and I joined Morning Star Academy in 2016.
Now, here I am at I.W. Evans wth the opprotunity to teach ELA to my fabulous future 4th graders.
I have been married to my husband, Nathan, for 12 awesome years. We have no children but have plenty of 4 legged creatures around the house and farm for us to care for.
We currently live in Honey Grove where my husband was born and raised. I love our little town so much.
