4th Grade Teacher
I graduated from North Lamar High School in Paris, TX in 2003.
I went to Paris Junior College, and finished my Bachelors degree with Capella Universtiy in 2020.
I have my Bachelors of Science in Psychology.
I am currently obtaining my masters in school counseling.
I am certified in Mental Health First Aide in Youth.
This will be my first year teaching at Bonham ISD and I am so excited. I will be teaching fourth grade ELAR at IW Evans Intermediate. This is my second year at IW Evans Intermediate. Previously, I worked for Communities In School of Dallas as a Site Coordnator. I fell in love with all the students at IW Evans and made the change to be a teacher.
Prior to becoming a teacher I was a site coordinator with Communites In Schools. With this postion I helped students with academics, behavior, and attendence problems.
I am married to Martin and we have two wonderful children, Canyon and Emmalynn. Canyon is thirteen and Emmalynn is seven and they attend North Lamar in Paris, TX.
I also have my pets which are my babies. We have three dogs; Max, Ranger, and Miller. We also have three cats; Maggie, Pepper, and Thomas.
Some of my hobbies include; fishing, swimming, reading, going to the beach, baseball, and mainly being outside with my family.
